Identification unknown. Possibly a member of the Manchester Constitutional Society who was in town to support the accused at the Treason Trials. He appears first in the diary at a dinner with Joseph Gerrald in Newgate and is also linked with Charles Sinclair. Godwin noted a 'Taylor Lancastrian' in December 1796 who is assumed to be the same person.
