Langridge was a solicitor in Lewes, Sussex whom Godwin meets in February 1804. Godwin had travelled there on behalf of his brother Joseph whose daughter Harriet has run away with Thomas West. Langridge appears to have been some sort of mediator in the affair. But it is curious that someone who appears only twice and in what seems to be a personal affair should be recorded in the 1796 list.
This table lists the people this person is most frequently noted with in the diary.
