Godwin records his death. Also there seem to be meetings at Curran's in 1799 and a call on him by Godwin in the August of 1800 when Godwin is in Ireland. Ponsonby defended suspected rebels after the 1798 rising and fears of a legislative union prompted his return to the House of Commons as MP for Galway in 1798, where he fought hard against the bill for Union.
There is one entry to Ponsoby in 1826, some years after his death, which is uncoded, but may be a relative.
