The Nash brothers were used by Shelley for his post obit bond in 1814. The bond was for £8,000, for which they paid £2,593-10s. Shelley's father attempted to buy the bond back in February 1816, offering £4,500. (See St Clair, p. 353-5, and p.385). Godwin and Shelley see a good deal of them during Shelley and Godwin's financial crises of 1814.

The later entries for Nash are to John Nash, the architect, wth whom Godwin apprenticed William in 1820.
