March was a bookseller and printer based in Norwich. He was the the publisher of the radical Norwich-based periodical the Cabinet(1794-5), to which Amelia Alderson and others contributed. He was involved with the Norwich-based 'Friends of Freedom', engaged in activities such as raising funds to cover legal costs of defendants at the treason trials (c. 1795-97), collecting signatures for petitons against repressive legislations, and organising public dinners to celebrate acquittals at trials for treason/sedition. He later emigrated - possibly with Richard Dinmore - to America where he died.
