See Henry Thomas Carey Falkland
.Charles Carey was Henry Carey's successor to the title in 1796, when references in the diary switch from Carey to Falkland. Chales Carey died after a drunken duel with his friend Arthur A. Powell
Note that there are four unidentified entries for 'Carey' after 1809. viz 18.12.1822, 2.09.1823, 3.11.1832, 4.03.1834. It is possible that these refer to one of Falkland's three sons.
