Godwin wrote to Lord Francis Egerton with respect to Janet Picken on 31 March 1835. It is possible that early references to Levison might be mispellings of Egerton (i.e. Leveson) before he assumed the title, but there is nothing to link Leveson with a lecture in January 1832 so we have discounted this possibility.
There are a range of earlier entries to Egerton in the Diary but these seem to be to J Egerton.
