Norwich surgeon who opened a surgery in his father's house in Norwich in 1793. Godwin's contacts are in the 1790s and 1805 and all the half dozen instances of the name occur when Godwin is in Norwich. It is possible that Godwin is referring to the father, although Dalrymple junr's sympathy for readical causes makes him a natural ally for Godwin.
