William Godwin's Diary

Events

Napoleon Bonaparte along with Emmanuel Joseph Sieyès, Lucien Bonaporte, Robert Ducas, Joseph Fouché, and Tallegrand overthrew the Directory, the executive branch of the government, and took power.
