The Polygraphic Exhibition at Pall-Mall was advertised for this day, showing 'a Variety of new Pictures in the Historic, Landscape, and Portrait Lines of Painting by the Polygraphic Art, in elegant gilt Frames'. Twenty-seven illustrations of Shakespeare by British artists originally intended for a 'New Shakespeare Gallery' in Ireland were simultaneously shown.
